Regional researchers have agreed on shared protocols for repeat surveys across a fragmented landscape.
Shared methods
The coalition will apply comparable observation methods on both sides of several administrative boundaries. Partners identified discrepancies in earlier datasets that had made year-to-year comparisons difficult.
Wrenfield's support focuses on training, data infrastructure and the long-term continuity of the monitoring program.
Looking ahead
Project teams will publish aggregate habitat indicators and report separately on the limits of the evidence.
