A research partnership will provide supervised training in collections, survey design and ecological data.
Building scientific capacity
The fellowship places early-career researchers with experienced botanists and collections specialists for supervised work at partner institutions. Training emphasizes specimen provenance, taxonomy, field safety and reproducible methods.
Participants work on defined scientific questions under the oversight of regional researchers.
Looking beyond one season
The Foundation's contribution includes technical mentorship and documentation intended to remain useful after each placement concludes.
See relevant program pages and the Research & Publications section for background and methods.
